After a shower at the camping ground and plotting out pretty much the rest of our route around the US, we headed to Niagara Falls. It was an oatmeal/raisin cookie, double stuff Oreos and a Red Bull for breakfast. I’m living the American dream! Hah. On a side note, I’m sure that the Red Bull cans in New Zealand don’t have the bull cut out on the tab, right?

The tab of a Red Bull can.

[edit (Orcon have sinced fixed their issue): I’ll have an image here when Orcon gets their act together. Three days and no response to my service request. SO not impressed!]

We gassed up and departed Barcelona around 0730.

It was another beautiful day. Clear blue sky and an open road. What could possible be better?

Made it to Niagara Falls around 0930. They certainly put Huka Falls to shame. Took heaps of snaps there. Weird being able to walk across the border into another country!

Niagara Falls.

We stopped for lunch (Arby’s) in Scottsville. We must have both looked fairly sunburnt because the guy behind the counter commented on how red we were. I wouldn’t be surprised though – not a cloud in the sky. After lunch it was time to hit the road again, with a final destination for today of Ocean City, MD.

Made it to Assateague State Park for the night. Lovely spot on a narrow strip of land near the beach (Atlantic). I am very frustrated with not being able to post photos, so this will have to do for now!
