I promised this year to start writing more blog posts and I started out with gusto, but life sometimes gets in the way! I've started a diploma, it's been a really busy year at my day job and with my freelance work and with other personal commitments, I just haven't had the time to blog. As part of this, I have decided to redesign erana.co.nz with a view to it being more about my design work and less about me personally. So, stand by for a new design sometime in the next couple of months. It's kind of pink, and kind of shiny. A very different look to what's here at the moment.
If there's one thing about New Zealand that New Zealanders who have lived here for any decent length of time know, it's that there really is only two degrees of separation here. I'm sure it's the same with other small island nations, but do they have a mobile service provider named after the concept? No, no they don't.
So I had a run of good luck and won a place on the inaugural flight from Auckland, New Zealand to Cairns, Queensland, Australia and a return flight five days later with Pacific Blue Airlines. A great stroke of luck really, given that I had accepted that I wasn't going to do any international travelling this year.
So, after months of build-up. Yellow chocolate is finally here.
What are you on about?
Yellow chocolate. It's the Yellow Pages' new and nifty idea, promoting the use of them to get the job done. I have to say that I think the yellow chocolate campaign was definitely a lot more engaging than the Yellow Treehouse from last time.
I'm not a marathon runner. In fact I don't really even think I'm that much of an athlete. However I have suffered from chronic exertional compartment syndrome and have since had surgery to correct it. I thought I'd write about my experience here in the hopes that someone might find it useful.
